As you can see from the picture, the earpiece fits comfortably in the hand, we were expecting something to arrive that would make it look like a phone strapped to your ear. But this is just so tiny. Once inserted, you'd barely see the thing if you had long-ish hair to hide it. The product we had in for testing was the chocolate brown version (but also comes in pink or white) The product needs charging out of the box and that didn't take too long. To get it working with with our Bluetooth-enabled phone is just a simply matter of pairing the device through the settings of your phone. Using the headset was pleasant enough. It fits in the ear reasonably well and is adjustable to fit most ears with the bendy arm that rests on your ear. The sound quality is very good and we managed to use the earpiece up to 10m away with the sound quality intact. One small point, when using the phone, there seems to be a short delay between pressing the button on the headset and hearing the person on the other end. Not too sure if that is a feature with all Bluetooth headsets. Another point is when taking a call the button is on top instead of the side where the volume controls are. This feels weird when taking a call, you have to prod yourself in the ear to talk to someone. Apart from that, it is a really good, very discreet headset that won't make you look like you've wondered off the set of Torchwood. Available from the Carphone Warehouse for £29.99. Rating: 7/10 |
