Sample ImageConsumer electronics firm Evesham Technology is scrapping delivery charges for any of its products that are shipped within the UK Mainland. Customers will not configure their purchase only to be hit by a hefty, additional delivery cost at the checkout, the company said.

“When researching the market for that all important purchase, consumers are spoilt for choice,” explained an official Evesham statement.

“How can they decide which deals are truly great deals and which are smoke screens hiding a line-up of additional costs that increase overall package costs?”

Evesham reckons not even charging them the cost of a stamp for delivery will help sort that out.

The company says this is not a promotion and the free delivery offer will not end.

Evesham develops and assembles its own range of PCs, notebooks, servers, LCD TVs and Satellite Navigation devices, which are sold on its own website and at its Lowest On Web subsidiary.
