wake-bacon-open.jpgWe've seen the fridge that throws beer at you, but what else could the lazy person want other than an alarm clock that wakes you with a freshly cooked rasher of bacon? Kind of like a 21st Century Teasmaid, the Wake n' Bacon wakes you with the gentle smell of cooking bacon, rather than the horrible gurgling of tea being brewed. Vegetarians could probably get by with a Quorn-based susbstitute.

It's simple to use, too. Just insert a frozen rasher into the tray at night and it'll slowly defrost until it's cooked in the morning by two halogen bulbs.

The only problem that leaves is where to store the brown sauce and bread.

The makers plan to update the product so it doesn't go off on holidays or weekends, and only turns on when someone's in bed.
