Nokia 6120When it comes to adding new sparkle to its existing phones, Nokia has proved that not everything needs the Spandau Ballet treatment (that’s Gold , to our younger readers). The new Nokia 6120 classic has upped its speed to deal with today’s need for faster downloads.

“More and more consumers are using their mobile phones for tasks such as downloading music, streaming video, browsing the Internet or receiving emails with attachments,” claims Nokia.

“The compact Nokia 6120 classic phone makes these tasks faster and easier by utilizing High Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA), an evolutionary technology offering downloads up to 10 times faster than over usual W-CDMA networks.”

To take advantage of that quicker speed, the 6120 includes a second camera on the front of the phone to allow video-calling.

The regular camera is still available on the back – offering up to 2-megapixel shots, with 4-times digital zoom, flash and panorama mode.

Nokia is also taking the time to show people how to use extra services and get the best out of their phones.

The 6120 classic will come pre-loaded with ‘How-To Guides’ and a Set-up Wizard to help people configure their email, messaging and internet connections.
