With all the talk of global warming and renewal energy sources, it’s good to see companies doing something about the problem. Step up Nanomars, which has created a solar-powered backpack to charge your gadgets on the go.
Spotted at the Computex trade show by a hack from The Inquirer, the device comes in 10 different varieties – all sporting the same glass panel. Depending on the model you choose, the solar panel will output 5.5v, 9v or 12v. And they come with a variety of adaptors to allow you to keep a wide range of kit charged up. At the moment the company is only selling them in batches of 100 to distributors, with a price tag of $78 (£40) each.
So expect them to be retailing with a healthy mark-up when they hit the shops. |
