streetpartysize0.jpgWe really love (most) of the iPod speakers that are on the market, but most of them are a little too big to take on your holidays.

But Gear4's new speakers could well see you listening to your tunes while slapping on the sun lotion as it is slim enough to fit in your suitcase and still be able to take all your swimming costumes as well. The StreetParty Size 0 weighs in at just 300g and is only 16mm in depth.

The company certainly have the holidaymaker market in mind as the Size 0 comes with a neoprene carry case - providing protection against knocks and bumps on your journey. Lie all good portable speakers this one runs on AA batteries as well as the mains. Of course it will also charge up your iPod as well.

Also, Gear4have thought enough to allow just about any iPod owner to come to the party, it has an adjustable dock so that whether you're listening to an iPod nano or video 5G, no space is wasted and the speaker still remains as slim as Posh Spice (but more tuneful hopefully).

There is a line in for other music players, a USB port for synching with your computer and a remote control. Tom Dudderidge, chief executive of Gear4 said the Size 0 with its "lightweight portability combined with incredible sound quality provides the perfect companion anytime you want to play your tunes; on the beach, by the pool, in the park or even at a BBQ."

The GEAR4 StreetParty Size 0 will also be available globally from GEAR4's online store - www.gear4store.com for £49.99.
