lg_lcd_tv_small.jpgTelevisions in the kitchen have never really won in the style stakes, this is of course until now. Korean electronic giant LG has unveiled a new range of dinky LCD tellies you can put just about anywhere in your house. The new LCD TVs come in four designs (with form and colour base variations) with the head of the range being the LG LS3R, a 20" model, fashioned around LG's unique ‘Fantasy' style with a glowing red pedestal.

The entire range of small TV's include PC input and are all HD Ready (aside from the 17LS5R). They all feature 16:9 aspect ratio, are equipped with an analogue tuner, enhanced noise reduction, sleep timer and Dynamic 1 Way 2 speakers, meaning the sound of these sets packs as powerful punch as their style.

For the first time in screens of this kind, three of the models - the 22LS4R, 19LS4R and 20LS3R - are also equipped with LG's exclusive XD Engine Image Processor, which helps to improve picture quality, in areas such as brightness, colour and contrast, for improved resolution.

Altogether there are four models in the new range: 22" LS4R, 19" LS4R, 17" LS5R and the 'Fantasy' designed 20" LS3R.  Each model will be available in the UK from July 2007.

James Atkins, marketing manager for LG said that the LG had seen how consumers' needs are changing "as the style and design of technology adapt to fit seamlessly into peoples' homes. As consumer tastes mature so must the offerings from manufacturers in order to meet their demands."
