Page 1 of 3 "We've got a flying mouse to kill and I want to clean my claws," says the Joker in Tim Burton’s Batman. But we can’t help thinking he’d leave Logitech’s MX Air Rechargeable Cordless Mouse alone, because it’s just too pretty and too useful to kill.
After all, you can sit back and relax when you work with the MX Air, as you just stick your thumb on the top button selector and your fingers under the base and it works as an air mouse. The traditional wheel has been replaced with a touch sensitive scroll panel, which is enabled with a swipe of the finger across the surface. There are also thumb-operated buttons to access Volume and Play/Pause options in the air. “To enable effortless in-air navigation, the new mouse combines three important technologies: Freespace motion control, gesture command and wireless,” a Logitech spokewoman told Absolute Gadget. “So people can point, select and play media files with just a flick of the wrist.” Then there is the striking design, combining a smart silver base, and a semi transparent polished black top case, with a carefully contoured shape. The MX Air mouse uses Logitech 2.4GHz Digital Cordless technology, which has a range of up to 10 metres. It comes with 2.4GHz micro-receiver, which makes it simple to plug in and use with a desktop or notebook PC. Logitech also says the sleek charging cradle is unobtrusive and elegant. Set for an August launch, this versatile laser mouse will be available for around £99.99. ![]() |
