ahc350k_large_wireview_rdax_460x432.jpgWe have had the Shure e2c earphones for a while and absolutely love them so what could possibly prise us away from these audio treats? Denon hopes with its new earphones it could start a new love affair with us.

The Denon AH-C350 earphones weigh in at 3 grams (excluding the cable) and fit in the ear quite snugly with one of the three earpieces provided with the set. The earpieces allow you to listen to your favourite tunes without having to listen to whatever the person next to you on the train is playing. The earpieces fit very well within the ear, so it is easy to tune out your neighbours in the train carriage.

The earphones also have newly developed acoustic optimizer which adjusts the sound pressure balance in front of and behind the diaphragm which should result in clearer bass and more dynamic critical low to mid frequency range. You plug the earphones into your iPod using the gold-plated stereo mini-jack.

The cable length is 1.2m so you should more than enough cable to plant your mp3 player about your person without too much of a mess of wires everywhere. As for sound quality, it is very good. We tested the phones with both an iPod and the Sony Ericsson W880i mobile phone. The bass coming from the Sony Ericsson was particularly powerful, rich and deep through the earphones and stereo separation was unparalleled.

If you want power, fidelity and music delivery then you couldn't go wrong with these earphones.
