Judging from all those action movies you'd think being a member of SWAT was an adrenaline pumped living on the edge type of job where fast-paced shootouts and split-second decisions were a matter of life and death. Well think again.

You see, the whole premise of the game as a serious simulation of what an actual SWAT team does is a worthy one. But where the game falls short is its capability to add a sense of urgency and consequence to proceedings.

Playing the role of Swat team leader Kurt Wolfe it's up to you and your team of two to put an end to the Korean turf war in New York City. Things get a little out of hand, and the situation turns into a nuclear threat against New York.

Now usually in the movies, whoever was in charge of national security would say something like "I want our best men on the case". Well it seems there weren't many around because it's just you and two others tasked with bringing the terrorists to justice. Luckily for New York City the offenders are a bunch of knuckleheads, but more on them later.
