Now we know the Sony Ericsson W960 will be here in time for Christmas, you might want to look for a little stocking filler to go with it. Coincidentally, Sony Ericsson has announced that the Music Desk Stand MDS-65 will also be available this month...

According to the company, the Music Desk Stand MDS-65 “makes the perfect partner for a hi-fi duet”.

It doesn’t just restrict itself the W960, though, and works with "many other" Sony Ericsson phones.

The MDS-65 lets you charge a phone while experiencing “high-fidelity sound” on its four full-range neodymium-magnet speakers.

“And when you’re on the move, the MDS-65 runs on batteries so you can use it anywhere you like – from barbecue to beach,” Sony Ericsson said.

“With its sleek, futuristic silver finish, it can’t help but draw admiring glances.”

So you could even use it to give other people gadget envy.
