The game is really more like an interactive movie. Basically you move your mouse at exactly the right time in order to progress the game. One wrong turn and that's it - end of Dexter/Ace. In other parts of the game you are given a prompt to "Energize" Dexter and in doing so you can turn back to Ace for a while. This then means that you can face challenges with a laser gun instead of having to run and dodge like a little child.

As usual with these games, the animation is done by Don Bluth. The scenes have been remastered into HD and render well on our test set up. We got the occasional video skip, but this may have been down to our slightly underpowered computer (the developer recommends that you run Windows XP / Vista with a 2.4GHz processor, 512MB RAM and 64MB graphics card).
