Page 1 of 6 Last week saw a host of technology companies battering our livers with their Christmas parties. Here’s our roundup of the news we should have been telling you instead of cleaning up our own vomit. That includes Nokia's Creebies game, Denon's DJ update, Speedball 2 Online, Klipsch iGroove SXT iPod dock, JetBlue in-flight email and IM service and Halo 3's first extra maps to download.
Nokia is getting all excited about the N-Gage platform popping up on the N81 this week. But the company is also planning to give birth to some new life on N-Gage thanks to a game called Creebies. The game allows you to create and care for your own virtual pet on your Nokia device. When it’s added to the N-Gage service, there will be a world of virtual pet-care available so your pet is never left alone. Supplied with a trailer and some virtual cash, you can customise your new friend and home with various accessories. Soon, the 3D pet will take on its own personality and appearance based on the attention it receives. Your Creebi can also interact with other Creebies via Bluetooth technology - for instance, they can play games together or even breed. Players can show off their newborns to others or send them to new homes through the Adoption Centre in the N-Gage Arena. Creebies is expected to be available in early 2008.
