Klipsch this week showed off the iGroove SXT – a portable iPod speaker system it said has “genuine audiophile credentials”.
The US-based manufacturer said the iGroove SXT is a true two-way, stereo sound system that employs dual long-throw 6.4cm/2.5in woofers in a ported enclosure and dual 19mm/3/4in “Klipsch is the only company in this category to utilise horn technology, a technology that it has used and perfected in its hi-fi products for more than 60 years,” Klipsch said. “The result is a design that delivers a richer, more lifelike sound as well as producing more output using less energy.
