Medion knows that Every Little Helps™. That’s why it’s launched a quad-core multimedia desktop PC exclusively at Tesco. The Medion 6615 PC is available at Tesco Extra and Tesco Homeplus stores in the UK, as well as online at Tesco Direct.
Medion said the Intel Core2 Quad machine, which costs £579 including VAT and a one-year warranty, offers “high-end power PC features at a best value price point”. It features Windows Vista Home Premium edition; Intel’s Core 2 Quad Q6660 2.4GHz chip, and an nVidia GeForce 8600GT DirectX 10 graphics card with DVI-I connector and HDMI port (with HDCP decoding). “Medion’s 6615 PC is adept at handling processor-hungry tasks such as running 3D games or creating multimedia content, and provides the capacity to handle all of Vista’s graphics demands,” said a Medion suit who was doing a bit of seasonal temp work at Tesco. “With the addition of 2GB of RAM and a one terabyte of hard disk space, the PC provides the memory and storage necessary for managing demanding audio and video files. The PC also includes Medion’s triple TV tuner, which offers Freeview DVB-T, DVB-S Satellite and analogue TV tuner card. That’s backed up by MCE remote control and high-definition eight-channel surround sound audio. There’s even an integrated eight-in1 front memory card reader and a dual-layer multi-format DVD re-writer. Bundled software includes a number of Tesco programs, including Easy Record, Internet Security, PhotoRestyler, Complete Office, Personal Finance and PhotoBook Creator. The Medion 6615 PC is available from today. |
