Is this the rumoured ultra-thin Mac sub-laptop?

As both CES and MacWorld loom on the horizon, rumour sites have been working overtime to find juicy snippets of information. One such titbit of news is the possible sighting of an ultra-portable MacBook, ahead of Steve Jobs' keynote speech. 

A picture on CrunchGear shows what is thought to be the new computer, much smaller than what appears to be a normal MacBook on the left. It is thought that the new device will require an external optical drive as it won't have one itself.

The MacBook looks thinning than a fasting supermodel that hasn't eaten for days and will also feature multi-touch technology, featured in the iPhone.

Again, this could all be made up, we shall see come the the 15th.
