Intempo has launched a new Internet/FM portable radio that gives you 20 hours of radio play before it runs out of juice. The new radio, codenamed Daisy, had rechargable batteries that will last for almost a day playing your favourite internet radio. It also has a stylish curve design with a glossy black fascia and silver speaker grill. It also features a touch-sensitive slide controls, which navigate the radio's menu. The radio supports all internet radio formats including Real and Windows Media and can access over 6,000 Internet radio stations around the globe, with music easily selected by genre or by country. If an Internet connection is temporarily down, FM is available. Not only does it have stereo speakers (which are becoming bizarrely rare nowadays) but it also has an alarm clock so you can use it to wake up to Wogan. "Internet radio has rapidly progressed from tuning in on your PC to more recognisable standalone receivers such as Intempo's GX-01 which launched in 2007. We have now taken this one step further with Daisy. At last people can buy a gorgeous truly portable radio which will let you listen to music and news from anywhere in the world, wherever you are," said Katie Richards, Marketing Manager at Intempo.
