Page 1 of 2 What do Big Brother producers Endemol do when not searching for the next bunch of loonies to hold in captivity? Teaming up with O2 to bring us entertainment on our mobiles, that’s what. O2 has announced a drama series titled Cell for mobile customers.
Cell tells the tale of a man who finds himself in prison with no idea how he got there or how to escape, with only a cell phone and a mysterious phone-caller for company. O2 promises the combination of live-action and computer animation will create a cinematic visual impact never before seen in mobile video content. "Cell shows that O2 is once again pushing the boundaries of mobile video content, with the highest production values and an innovative commercial model that sees O2 and Endemol share revenue,” said Grahame Riddell, head of content at O2 UK, as he struggled with his motivation. “Our partnership with Endemol has enabled both companies to fuse production and mobile content expertise to stunning effect for the audience."
