Honington Bridge in WarwickshireHow do you stop thieves nicking the expensive stones on your historic 300-year-old bridge? Give them a gadget upgrade...

 

At least that’s what’s happening to the Honington Bridge near shipton in Warwickshire.

Thieves have been making off with the ornamental stones, often to use them as decorative features in gardens.

However, replacements made from traditional Cotswold stone will now be fitted with microchips to put pilferers off.
