fringsters can also choose to activate the fringME! web feature, making themselves contactable from any PC via their own web pages, blogs, home pages, email signatures, MySpace, and soon Facebook pages – almost anywhere they have an internet presence.

fringME! also allows fringsters with GPS enabled handsets to choose whether to have their real-time location displayed via a pop-up Google Map.

Avi Shechter, co-founder and CEO of fring, said that mobile phone owners often use only their handset’s most basic features, despite being attracted by sophisticated devices.

“We believe the future will see the mobile device at the heart of the users’ communication and internet experience,” said Shechter.

 “We are witnessing something of a revolution; fring is changing the way people interact with their mobile and internet worlds on a daily basis.”
