macbook_air3.jpgIf you have just gone out and spent a load of money on a bigger-sized iPhone and iPod Touch then you may well be a bit short of cash to purchase the reassuringly expensive MacBook Air, trouble not as electronics vendor PC World has knocked £250 off the price.

Of course there is a minor condition to getting the discount as you have to sign up to a 18-month mobile broadband contract from network operator 3, (see this story here - PC World in free laptop giveaway)

Glenn Orchard, head of commercial development at PC World, said:  "The new MacBook Air is the ultimate portable laptop and this is the best deal on the market today.  Combining the MacBook Air with the 3 Mobile Broadband service creates the ultimate mobile broadband experience, enabling proud owners to put their phenomenal laptop through its paces on the move.  We're delighted to offer this unique combination, which we're sure will be a hit with Apple fans."

Stock of the MacBook Air is expected in a few days and customers can place pre-orders for the 3 mobile broadband/MacBook offer in-store at PC World.
