Samsung NV4, i8 and L110 camerasYou can tell we’re getting close to Valentine’s Day, ’cuz all the tech companies get just a little bit soppy. Samsung is the latest, having provided another addition to the lets-colour-our-products-so-girls-will-like-them club by painting three new cameras in interesting shades.

According to Samsung, get her either the “envy-inducing NV4, the blushing pink i8 or the fiery red L110 and she’ll be captivated by their fantastic functions long after the flowers have died.”

If you’re not wowed by the colours, here are a few more hard facts about the tech aspects...

The NV4 offer eight megapixel photography, Advanced Shake Reduction (ASR) system and Red-Eye Fix technology.

It also includes Samsung’s latest Smart Touch User Interface for “easy and convenient control – a gentle touch is all it takes to view your pictures, navigate menu items, or change the camera settings.”

Meanwhile, the 8.1 megapixel Samsung i8 includes a Personal Multimedia Player with integrated MP3 player.

An in-built World Tour Guide function provides instant access to travel info covering 2,600 regions in 30 countries, and is, having played with it before, quite good.

The i8 also features Samsung’s Intelligent Face Recognition Technology which detects the subject’s face, then automatically adjusts auto focus and auto exposure to ensure better composition and image quality for portraits.

Funnily enough, the one with the most megapixels is actually the cheapest.

The 10.1-megapixel L110 combines Samsung’s Digital Image Stabilization and Intelligent Face Recognition technology in a compact aluminium body.

It also features 3x optical zoom, a 2.5” LCD display and a suite of advanced video and editing features.

The L110 prices lowest at £129, while the NV4 and i8 will both see you part with £149.
