 It’s just a few short hours since we told you that Archos had bigged up its teeny Archos 405 PMP to pack in 30GB of storage, and the company gets in touch with even better news. It already costs 25 per cent less...
Has Archos gone insane? Has the company’s production costs been stripped down by the mass production cycle so they can knock out the units much cheaper? Is Archos just in a good mood? Nope, none of those. Instead it seems the original press release was a little bit heavy on the price. “I have an apology to make,” emailed an Archos press guru. “We got the price wrong on the release and it will, in fact, retail for £149.99 rather than the £199.99 we stated.” Bonus! |
