Page 1 of 2 LG is finally launching one of its new handset into the European market. And before you hand us 10p and tell us to go call someone who cares: a) Who the hell uses money to call these days; and b) it’s got an interface so good it helped the phone scoop the 2008 iF Product Design Award...
Main features of the KF600 handset include:
* InteractPad
* Dynamic graphic interface themes
* Multimedia Features The InteractPad works by replacing physical navigation keys with context-specific virtual keys that change to fit the task at hand. “This is far more flexible than standard hardware features and eliminates the need to memorise exactly which key performs which function,” said a virtual LG press statement. “These virtual keys are also larger and better spaced than physical keys, improving accuracy.” (Continued on next page)
