Page 1 of 2 Panasonic has been in touch to talk up a couple of LCD projectors it released a while back. And since we’re hoping to get our hands on them for review, we thought we’d give you a sneak peak in the meantime. The PT-AX200E is supposedly a versatile home cinema projector, which “lifts videogames to a new level”. And the PT-AE2000E delivers a “powerful home cinema viewing experience.”
The PT-AX200 features a Game Mode, which lets videogame players experience all the action of their favourite games “in ultra-realistic picture quality and in real-life size on a large screen.” Game Mode improves signal processing from 15ms to 5ms for faster response, cutting down the delay. It boasts 2,000-lumen brightness and Panasonic’s new Light Harmonizer 2 technology (which senses ambient light levels and adjusts the picture accordingly to assure bright, easy-to-see images in all lighting conditions). “This optimizes the signal processing to the specific properties of game content coming from high-definition game consoles and multimedia computers,” the press release says. The PT-AX200 comes with two HDMI connectors and costs €1,499.
