Page 1 of 3 Like a spurned lover, Canon has been trying to get in touch all day to have its say (five emails and counting). And what it wanted to say is this: there’s a new range of Digital Ixus products out, including a black and silver 85 IS, the 90 IS and the 970 IS.
The Digital IXUS 85 IS has evolved from the Digital IXUS 70 design and now features a silver casing, “bold lens ring” and edging details in piano black or silver. Canon said it had also softened the camera’s sharp minimalism in favour of a distinctive “curved square” design, giving the slimline digital compact camera a “smoother and more fluid look”.
