WashUPWe’re all doing our bit to save the environment these days [And if you’re not, snap to it – Ed]. But doubling up on services could allow the waste products from one to be utilised in another. Which is where the WashUP comes in...

This odd combination of washing machine and toilet uses the waste water that’s rinsed your clothes to flush away your excretions.

That stops you flushing perfectly usable, clean water down the drain every time you go for a number one or two.

It's just a concept item at the moment, but it could have a role as a space saver in smaller properties if it goes into production.

The big question is, will your toilet seat vibrate when you set it on spin-cycle...?
