We’ve already given you the heads up about Nokia’s musical tie-in with T4, which starts on Sunday 6 April. But the mobile phone giant has now slipped us a few more details about the exclusive content users will be available to download to their handsets... The first show of the 15-week run features performances from American R&B superstar Chris Brown, Mancunian indie hopefuls The Courteeners, Swedish sensation Robyn, urban act Count & Sinden and Beardy Man.
The following exclusive tracks will be available to download from the Nokia Music Store:
* What Took You So Long by The Courteeners (Live from the Nokia Green Room): available to download for free from the 6–13 April.
* Not Nineteen Forever by The Courteeners (Live from the Nokia Green Room).
* Robyn, Who's That Girl? (Live from the Nokia Green Room).
* Robyn, Be Mine (Live from the Nokia Green Room).
The Nokia Green Room is a 30-minute music show that combines exclusive live performances from top music acts, with behind the scenes footage of artists mixing backstage between songs.
Music fans will get a glimpse into the lives of their favourite acts thanks to hidden microphones and cameras in a specially created backstage area – ‘The Nokia Green Room’.
The first episode will be broadcast at 14.20 on T4, at 19.30 the same day on The Hits and again on Wednesday 9 April at 00.10 on T4.
Individual tracks from the Nokia Music Store cost £0.80 each, with full albums from £8.
The service also offers a monthly subscription for PC streaming for £8.
Nokia’s Will Harris described it as a “fascinating project” and said his company was very excited to be associated with it.
“The Nokia Green Room’s fusion of reality TV, live music and mobile promises to be a heady mix,” he said.
Viewers can text NOKIAGREEN to 63456 to get a link to the mobile Green Room site.
