LG peaks our curiosity with Black news

One of the LG Black Label Series - in pinkSooner or later other companies were bound to catch on to Apple's trick of drumming up interest prior to a big launch. Enter stage right LG, with news that it is planning to reveal the secret behind its third Black Label Series handset.

When you consider that the prior models consisted of the LG Chocolate phone and the LG Shine, you have to admit you’re interested too.

“The design heritage of the LG Black Label Series will continue on to the third handset - boasting its smart technology with the latest and sophisticated features, including the slimmest 5MP camera,” an LG press release said.

LG said that similar to the previous LG Black Label Series handsets, the latest model also carries a product concept derived from today’s trend leaders.

“This new concept of ‘Style that Lasts’ reflects the timeless and elegant design of the phone enhanced by stylish materials such as carbon fibre and tempered glass,” LG said.

The phone will be unveiled on 24 April in Europe, followed by the rest of the world.

However, the product name will only be revealed at the official launch.
