It seems it's a good day for mythical constructs riding vehicles. We've already seen a devil riding a huge guitar-shaped bike. Now Vauxhall has confirmed the griffin that features in its logo is getting a revamp.

First up for the fresh design is the Vauxhall Insignia, which replaces the outgoing Vauxhall Vectra model.

That’s quite fitting when you consider Insignia means emblem.

The badge will then be featured on every all-new Vauxhall launched in the future.

The Vauxhall Insignia will make its debut at 2008 British Motor Show in London in July.

For the record, the new one is on the left and the old one is on the right.
