Canon Pixma iP 100Canon has updated its popular Pixma iP90v printer – adding an extra 10 to its model number and bringing the range up to the Pixma iP100. The camera expert claims a new 9600dpi Fine print head in the iP100 brings exceptional photo-lab print quality to the portable sector.

Images are reproduced up to 9,600 x 2,400dpi, while a 1pl ink-droplet size helps to deliver “virtually grain-free photos”.

The Pixma iP100 also has a five-ink system, which includes a large Pigment black ink tank for crisp, sharp text as well as Dye black for enhanced photo quality.

Canon said the “stylish, compact design” made it the natural choice for both business-people on the road and style-seeking home users.

The Pixma iP100 also features:
* Borderless 10 x 15cm photo prints in approximately 50sec
* Printing freedom with IrDA IR and optional Bluetooth
* ChromaLife100 for long-lasting, beautiful photos

The Pixma iP100 is available from mid-May 2008, priced at £199 (€299).

The model featuring a battery pack is available at £249 (€359).
