Page 1 of 4 Here at Absolute Gadget we like to keep our feet looking good. This means making sure our kicks are always spick and span. But why hit the trainer store and endure the waiting, other people’s pongy feet, and then queuing to pay. Especially when you can visit a vending machine...
From today the UK’s first ever vending machine for trainers, created by Japanese sports fashion brand Onitsuka Tiger, will make purchasing sneakers as simple as buying a Snickers. "We hope trainer fans love our latest creation as much as we do and enjoy the latest and most innovative way to buy their Tiger Feet,” said Penny Keen, Onitsuka Tiger Brand Manager commented, while sporting her newly vended Tigers.
“Onitsuka Tiger prides itself on its heritage, so taking inspiration from The machine, which can vend up to 24 shoes at one time, appeared in Carnaby Street today before making appearances throughout the UK. Fashion-conscious shoe hunters have a chance to win a free pair from the machine on Monday 14th, Tuesday 15th and Wednesday 16th April. Shoe shopping with the missus just got easier.
