Puchi Puchi from Bandai My name is Hillary, and I am a bubblewrap-aholic. Thankfully Bandai has come to my aid with the Puchi Puchi, allowing me to escape the social stigma associated with popping the bubble.

“Next time your hands yearn for the feel and sound of the plastic bubble, look no further than toy manufacturer Bandai,” a teasing press release reads.

“Puchi Puchi, the electronic bubble wrap-popping simulator, is the ultimate shortcut to managing your addiction and the latest craze from those Japanese bubble fetishists.”

There are three colour variations of the device: white, blue and pink.

Puchi Puchi is the onomatopoeic word to describe the sound of bubbles popping - although if you press the bubble buttons often enough you’ll be rewarded with a surprise sound like a dog bark or doorbell.

Bubble Wrap Withdrawal Syndrome is a blight on our society that must be popped, I mean stopped!

The Puchi Puchi from Bandai sells for £7.99 on Amazon.co.uk.
