As much as we adore tech there are times when our love-affair with it puts a strain on the relationship between us and our wallets. So it’s nice to know that tech temptress Sony Ericsson cares. It’s brought out a phone it claims is the most affordable HSDPA model yet.
The candy-bar phone is available in Champagne Black and Brilliant Hazel flavours and offers a range of features - such as giving phone users the chance to get the best of the web for as little price as possible. "The G502 is the latest in an established line of classic Sony Ericsson phones that cram a wealth of time-saving features into a pocket-sized phone," said Martin Winkler, director of global marketing and head of multimedia web at Sony Ericsson, in between checking Facebook mobile. "It improves on its predecessors by adding HSDPA for high-speed web connectivity, making it appealing to those who need to stay on top of busy lives". As well the speed of HSDPA, it also touts Google Maps for mobile, as well as listings for hotels and restaurants. There is also scope to plug in a GPS device, so no more getting lost on the way home. Or you can check the weather with the forecast application. Add Push Email to that and have easy access to all your mails and Facebook group invites. No specific date for its arrival has been confirmed. Expect to see it in a few months time, though.
