Page 1 of 4 “We’re all filmmakers now.” That’s Motorola’s message when it comes to its new slider phone, which has video-editing software built in. Naturally, it’s also a piece of cake to share the results on YouTube.
The phone packs a 3.2-megapixel camera, with “instant launch” and auto-focus to capture stuff in the moment - shooting just one second after you spot a worthy target. The 2.2-inch QVGA screen displays video at 30 frames per second, to show off your own clips or other media you’ve downloaded. “The Moto Z10 means that you can be a filmmaker on the fly,” a Motorola mogul said. “It’s a complete pocket-sized mobile film studio packed with next generation 3G technology, which allows you to capture high-quality video, edit clips, create transitions between scenes and add title slides and soundtrack.” If you’re wondering where all that video’s going to be stored, don’t worry. The Moto Z10 will accept microSD cards up to 32GB. As for the Moto Z10 itself, we like the unusual way it slides and leaves an uneven look to the phone. Supported file formats include: AMR, AAC, AAC+, MP3, WMA, 3GPP, H.263, H.264 and MPEG4. It connects using HSDPA, Quadband GSM, GPRS and EDGE, as well as dual mode UMTS 2100. It’s available in the UK now from 02 retail shops, while the rest of Europe will get its hands on the Moto Z10 in mid-May. Check out more images on the following few pages.
