”IQ Routes technology considers all possible options to its final destination, taking into account any situations that may delay a driver's journey, such as traffic on roundabouts, speed bumps or traffic lights,” a TomTom statement said.
“It also takes into account the traffic situation on weekends and weekdays, ensuring the TomTom GO always selects the fastest route, putting drivers back in control of their daily route planning.”

Drivers choosing the Traffic models also have easy access to detailed traffic information through the RDS-TMC Traffic Receiver.

The TomTom GO 930 Traffic might seem pricey at £399.99, but this premium model comes with the latest seamless maps of 35 countries in Western and Eastern Europe, USA, Canada and Russia stored on the internal memory.
The GO 930 also includes Enhanced Positioning Technology for uninterrupted navigation, even in tunnels or built-up areas.
Meanwhile, the TomTom GO 730 and GO 730 Traffic include maps of 31 countries in Western & Eastern Europe.
Moving down the line, the TomTom GO 530 and GO 530 Traffic come pre-installed with door-to-door maps of the UK and Ireland.
Other features in the TomTom GOx30 series, include:
