BT Vision PVR boxEnglish football fans don’t despair! That’s the message from BT as Euro 2008 kicks off, with BT Vision launching a library of Wembley’s greatest FA Cup finals.

While 2008 may be a forgettable year for the England national side, the internet TV service has a catalogue of FA Cup finals available to view that stretches back to the 1970s.

According to BT, its BT Vision Sport station offers “the most inclusive approach to pricing in the market with prices to suit every budget”.

Fans can pay 99p to watch one of the classic FA Cup finals or they can choose a monthly subscription, which includes all the on demand action for £4 a month.

And when the Premier League kicks of again, fans who want Setanta’s live action in addition to BT’s on demand coverage can also get it through the £12 Total Sport package, which delivers 75 per cent of all Barclays Premier League matches in full.

A survey by BT Vision voted Wimbledon’s 1-0 victory over Liverpool in 1988 as the greatest FA Cup Final upset with 63 per cent of the votes.

On that day a Lawrie Sanchez goal secured victory for the Crazy Gang.
