sky_hd.jpgSky's HD service is arguably the best (possibly because all the others offer very little HD content). So it comes as a little surprise to find that the company is slashing  its prices.

On the back of the recent Freesat launch with a number of BBC and ITV HD channels, Sky has cut the cost of its Sky+ HD to £150 from its original £250. But unfortunately the cost of the Sky HD Mix subscription will still stay the same at £10 per month on top of your normal subs.

Also, the cost of installation still stays at £60 for new subscribers, or £30 for existing customers. Customers can get further discounts by taking up Multiroom, broadband and talk packages.

Sky has also updated its HD EPG, you can get a sneek preview by looking at its new website.
