If
you was about to shell out for a PS3 you might want to rethink that, as
Microsoft has a new Xbox 360 out, this time with 60GB of storage
goodness.
The move has been on the card
for some time now and the announcement comes just before the E3
shenanigans this week. And despite the triple storage the price remains
the same at $329 in the US.
"We know
consumers need more and more space to store the amazing digital content
Xbox 360 offers, and we're giving it to them at no extra charge,"
Albert Penello, the Xbox Director of Product Management over at
Microsoft gushed.
"No one device offers
the depth and breadth of entertainment that Xbox 360 can deliver, and
now you'll have three times the storage to manage all that great
content."
And while you get a a wireless
gamepad, a wired headset and a one-month subscription to xbox Live
there is still no sign of a Blu-Ray player thrown in to the bargain.
The
price of the 20GB version has had its price slashed to $299. There is
no news at the moment on whether the 60GB model with make it to this
side of the Atlantic.
