LG and T-Mobile join forces for the exclusive KF600 PurpleAs The Dark Knight roars into cinemas, LG Electronics has announced the UK launch of a funky purple version of the KF600 slider phone. Given his outfits, we’re sure the phone - which is exclusive to T-Mobile in that colour - would be high on the Joker’s wishlist...

With its “high-gloss, purple finish” and graphic interface themes, which include artworks from world renowned artist Keith Haring, the dynamic duo says this “bright and vibrant handset” has been designed so people can make a bold statement this season.

The phone’s InteractPad replaces physical navigation keys with context-specific virtual keys that change to fit the task at hand.

That interface provides users with easier navigation through the handset’s numerous features, such as its digital MP3 player, camera and video camera.

Jeremy Newing, head of mobile marketing at LG Electronics, said he was very proud of the LG KF600 and its style-led functionality.

“I am sure the purple variant of this handset will be a huge hit with T-Mobile customers this summer,” he added.

There’s no word on the price yet, but the regular LG KF600 comes with an 18-month Flext 35 price plan for £25 a month, with a free 2GB memory card.
