Rock Band guitarThe joy of Rock Band goes on! New downloadable tracks from Scars on Broadway, Staind, Testament  and The New No2 will have fans hammering those drums, strumming those guitars and blasting out lyrics.

Scars on Broadway have exclusively released their first single ‘They Say’ to Rock Band’s download catalogue, for $1.99 or 160 Microsoft Points.

The five-piece consist of System of a Down members Daron Malakian (vocals/guitar) and John Dolmayan (drums), in addition to Franky Perez (guitar/backing vocals), Danny Shamoun (keyboards/percussion), and Dominic Cifarelli (bass).

Staind’s ‘This Is It’ – the first single from their forthcoming sixth studio album, The Illusion of Progress – is another debut.

The New No2 also debut the ‘Yomp’, which is the first single from their forthcoming album You Are Here.

The band are made up of Dhani Harrison (son of Beatle George Harrison) and Oli Hecks.

Meanwhile, Testament dig into their back catalogue to provide their first Rock Band download, ‘Electric Crown’.

The track is taken from their 1992 studio album, The Ritual.

‘They Say’, ‘This is It’ and ‘Electric Crown’ are available for $1.99 or 160 Microsoft Points, while ‘Yomp’ is on sale for $0.99 or 80 Microsoft Points.

Players can buy the songs from the Xbox Live Marketplace or the PlayStation Network.

That takes the total number of tracks available to play on Rock Band to more than 200 via disc and download.
