Sony has announced the X4500 series and W4500 series, two "state of the art" additions to its Bravia range. According to the TV manufacturer, it marries the "ultimate picture quality" with the "ultimate looks", thanks to its "graceful floating design with translucent frame".
Both tellies offer:
* Full HD 1080p
* Excellent clarity, colour, contrast and definition thanks to the Bravia Engine 2 Pro
* Motionflow PRO100Hz technology for smoother, sharper fast-moving action
* The ability to access digital music and photos from networked DLNA devices.
The Bravia X4500 series also adds "rich, deep colours, superb contrast and reduced power consumption" from an RGB Dynamic LED backlight.
It can handle four HDMI connections and includes a USB port to use content on a Flash drive.

Meanwhile, the Bravia W4500 series offers "innovative styling" inspired by Sony's new ‘Draw the Line’ design concept.
It only has three HDMI ports and also only displays a 50,000:1 contrast ratio (unlike the 1,100,000:1 contrast ratio of the X4500).
“The unique blend of advanced technology and leading design of both the Bravia X4500 and slim speaker systems, mean that consumers can now view crystal-clear images with atmospheric sound without compromising on the look and feel of their home”, explained Darren Ambridge, TV Group product manager at Sony UK.
“Together with the feature-packed W4500 series, these two new Bravia ranges represent the absolute pinnacle of Sony innovation in bringing you the best-looking pictures and an unmatched home theatre experience.”
The X4500 series is available in 46-inch or 55-inch screen sizes, while the W4500 series comes in three screen sizes: 40-inch, 46-inch, 52-inch.
Prices have yet to be confirmed.
