KenBusterAs we reported a few weeks ago, the KenBuster device was pondering a name change because Ken Livingstone had been ousted as Mayor of London. However, it won’t be swapping to the ‘BorisBuster’, as Londoners see him as “clumsy and inept”...

That’s despite a result that saw Londoners back Boris Johnson as Mayor of London!

In the two-week survey on the KenBuster website, around 59 per cent (243 out of 413 respondents) said they thought London will benefit under Boris’ leadership.

But when asked if the name of Congestion Charge gadget should be switched from KenBuster to BorisBuster, an overwhelming 76 per cent (314 people) said that they wouldn’t trust a product named after Boris as he’s regarded as “clumsy and inept”.

“We’re happy to keep the name KenBuster as we also believe that the Congestion Charge is Ken Livingstone’s legacy to Londoner’s,” said KenBuster inventor Matthew McCluskey.

“We also wish Boris Johnson every success in transforming the Congestion Charge into something that is beneficial for London, and certainly easier to pay than it is now. In the meantime, there is KenBuster!”
