Logitech video security clock cameraLogitech invaded our homes long ago with its range of consumer gadgets. But now it plans to protect that same property, thanks to a range of video security cameras that are available in Europe for the first time.

All three PC-based security cameras feature:
* Do-it-yourself 15-minute setup
* Motion-activated email alerts
* Free remote viewing.

The company claims the cameras cost “a fraction” of the price of traditional video security systems and can be installed without configuring a network or running any new wires.

“By harnessing the power of digital video, as well as the PC and internet technology, we’ve made it easier for you to feel peace of mind in your home or at your business,” said Gregor Bieler, vice president of sales and marketing for Logitech’s European consumer electronics business.

The first three Logitech video-security cameras are available as starter packs or add-on cameras.

They include:
* The Indoor Video Security Master System
* The Outdoor Video Security Master System
* The Clock Video Security Master System
* The Indoor Add-On Camera
* The Outdoor Add-On Camera
* The Clock Add-On Camera.
