Now keyboards are the most interesting of subjects but Logitech has tried to make the seemingly impossible by unveiling three keyboards with one that lights up and really thin.

The illuminated keyboard are you may expect lights up but is also very thin, only 9.3mm from base to frame. You can expect to pay £50 for the peripheral.

The second of the Logitech keyboards is the diNovo, which is styled as a complement to notebook PCs (well you can never have enough keyboards). No word on the UK price but is set around the €90. The company said that the battery should last around three years.

Lastly, there is the Cordless Desktop S520 (OK not the most interesting name), which is black and grey and, er, goes well with most laptops (so they tell us!) It comes with rounded edges and comes with a cordless laser mouse which the company reckons is smoother compared to normal optical versions.

The keyboard also sports four programmable function keys and one touch access to Microsoft Office applications and t'internet.
