dl-nokia-n85.jpgNokia have launched a service which gives people free access to two million music tracks! The handset dubbed "Comes with Music" will be available from the UK's Carphone Warehouse on a pre-paid basis.

Although competing with Apple is not top of the agenda, analysts forecast that the "Comes with Music Handset" will be a major hit. Users can transfer downloaded music to their PCs and will be able to do this for the first year - tracks will be able to keep thereafter.

"We believe that Comes With Music will transform the way people enjoy music," said Tero Ojanpera, head of Nokia's entertainment and communities business said in a statement "With unlimited music access for a year, you can enjoy your favorite artists or delve into new genres without having to worry about individual track or album purchases."

With prices for the service not yet released, Paulo Pescatore, an analyst with research firm CCS Insight, estimated it will cost around £170 - but the service which is available to anyone who buys a 5310 Nokia Handset is only £69.

There is no operators signed up as of yet, but head of content at O2, Antony Douglas said: "We want to make sure we offer our customers a wide choice of options to get the maximum benefit of music through O2 and will be watching Nokia's "Comes with Music" package with interest,"

Vodafone's MusicStation costs £1.99 a week and gives customers unlimited access to a catalogue of 1.2 million songs.
