InFocus have sold over 1.5 million projectors in 22 years, so it's fair to say they know what they're doing when it comes to making your PowerPoints nice and big. Now they're blaring to anyone who's listening that their new line will be their most successful yet, and casting our collective eye over the specs, they may be on to something...
The IN3100 series are HD'd up to the eyeballs (HDMI v1.3a, stat fans)
and are among the first projectors to use the DisplayLink USB
connectivity system for super-speedy set-up times. There's wireless,
too, for those of you who like to pretend you're living in an episode
of The Jetsons.
XGA or W-XGA versions as
sir or madam prefers, and for the discerning consumer who wants a light
strong enough to burn holes in walls, a high-brightness XGA version
will chuck out 3500 lumens.
InFocus have
declared that the range "will meet the needs of the most demanding of
users in the business/education sector." We don't want to argue, in
case they turn that super bright model onto us and burn the very flesh
from our bones.
(Disclaimer: InFocus are very nice people and never use their products for evil. Not even a little bit.)
