And the company feels that through its “unique customised” Flash Lock password protection, the TDK TRANS-IT range provides maximum data security.
“Users can develop their own personalised password which safeguards the USB from unauthorised access and it will automatically lock if the incorrect authorisation details are entered a set number of times,” an Imation press release tells us.
Don’t worry if you’re the kind of person who forgets their password - a login hint helps prompt what your access details are, cancelling out any potential frustration when trying to access files.
The latest range of drives range from 2GB to 16GB and the multi-lingual product is fluent in over 14 languages, detecting which one your operating system uses and adapting accordingly.
The TDK TRANS-IT USBs are in stores now with recommended retail pricing set at €5.75 for 2GB, €8.75 for 4GB, €19.50 for 8GB and €40 for 16GB.
