Those of you that cared little for the iPhone or even the BlackBerry Storm but still want a highly desirable smartphone better look up now! The potential Jesusphone killer G1 will be hitting UK streets on 30th October.
The 3G phone will be available on two tariffs from T-Mobile (which also carries the phone in the US). The Combi 35 comes with 800 minutes and unlimited texts while Flext 40 has up to 1,250 minutes or up to 2,500 texts or a mix of the two. Both tariffs offer unlimited internet surfing using HSDPA/HSUPA (w00t!) Both tariffs will set you back £40 per month.
Manufacturered by HTC, the phone comes with a 3.2-megapixel camera, a 3.2-inch touchscreen display and the now-standard GPS. There is also a nice QWERTY keyboard. It weighs 158g, measures 117.7mm x 55.7mm x 26.5 mm.
The phone comes with five hours of talk time or 130 hours in standby mode and is available in black or white. So far 25,000 people in the UK have registered their interest in the Googlephone with T-Mobile.Related Android news
