So Apple is a bad company according to those do-gooders at Greenpeace, maybe Jobs is trying to make amends as rumours start to fly thick and fast over the possible launch of a greener, more environmentally-friendly Mac Mini.
Slated for announcement at the MacWorld Expo after CES, the revamped Mac Mini is allegedly going to be a low-power version of the entry-level Mac we have come to know and love.
Also the small-form factor computer could be PVC-free. Inside what is likely to be a silver aluminium casing is a Super Drive CD/DVD player, 160GB of storage, 4GB of RAM and a choice of either a 2.0GHz or 2.3GHz Core 2 Duo processor. It could even feature an Nvidia card.
The likely price of the new Mac Mini is likely to be around £330 (or more if the pound slides again).
